My work explores how collages may be made and uses non-traditional approaches and construction methods to make a series of films, installations, assemblages, montages, and prints.
I have an MA in Fine Art (distinction) from the University of the Arts London (2013) and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts Canterbury (2010). Exhibitions include Whitstable Biennale Satellite (2016), Maidstone Museum Bentlif Art Gallery (2016), 51zero Film and Arts Festival (France, 2015) (Kent, 2014), and Chelsea Collage of Arts (2013). I was short listed for the Clifford Chance Sculpture Prize in 2014.
I'm also part of Drawing Connections, a group of artists testing the boundaries of drawing and exploring different ways to make work collaboratively. I have a piece - an experimentation in drawing with film - made collaboratively with fellow artist Nicola Saunderson in their forthcoming show - Drawing Connections / A Many Sided Thing. Venue: A-side B-side Gallery, Hackney Downs Studios, Amhurst Terrace, London, E8 2BT. PV: Thursday 3/11/16, 7-9:30pm (part of Whitechapel Gallery - First Thursdays). Show continues Friday 4/11/16, Saturday 5/11/16, Sunday 6/11/16, Monday 7/11/16, 12-6pm.
